I took a pass on it for right now. There are some other possibilities and I don't want to just go out and buy the first gun that looks reasonably good.  The truth is that I'm pretty comfortable carrying the Ruger SP101 in .357..  I'm not in a big rush to get something else, just mildly interested in exploring what else is out there.

That is a true statement.  I'm much more interested in rifles than I am in handguns, but I don't want to be totally unaware of what is going on in the world of handguns.

Revolvers sufficed for defensive purposes for quite a few decades.  While technology has offered us additional options, I'm still pretty comfortable carrying a revolver.

I will need to find something that the bride is comfortable carrying, but I don't think she's quite ready to get serious about it yet..  Hopefully soon...  At this point she's leaning toward a revolver.  She doesn't like having to rack the slide on the semi-autos that she's tried.
