For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yours would have been blued. Parkerizing (zinc phosphate) was used when rebuilding previously blued pistols. If yours was rebuilt it wouldn't have no finish remaining. BTW, have you ever seen a magnesium phosphated gun? This is a black "Parkerizing" that might be more appealing to you than the standard gray or gray-green finish. Not trying to talk you into anything, really, but I am suprised Parkerizing doesn't appeal to you. To me it just screams "military." |
