Does anyone know anything about a Walter Birdsong and his Teflon finishes? I have a 1927 Model Sistema (Colt 1911A1 Clone) that has no finish left and I have heard good things about his finish. I heard about it at work of all places (I am a Navy Contractor) where his work has been used for non-lubricated finishes for submarine parts. It turns out he does some gun finishes on the side and I was wondering what anybody's experience with it was, and how much it might cost.
