I have the same opinion about where some of the early CZ-75s came from, i.e. US military PXs in Europe. It just makes sense, eh?
I'm planning a trip to Eastern Europe this year and will be in the Czech Republic for a few days. I'd love to be able to visit the CZ factory, but doubt if my tour mates weould be pleased with that stopover. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I tend to think that it is true, because Eric's oldest CZ 75 has no import marks on it anywhere, just European proof marks. The guys at the store said they believed the seller who traded it in did in fact pick it up at an American PX in Germany a few decades back. I don't know how to verify it, but it seems a reasonable explanation. |
