I think the reason for the dog and pony show in this instance was because he was one of the first individual customers and he lived within driving distance of the plant. In another posting, he said he paid $200 for the refinish at that time, but since then (a couple of years?) he thinks the price has gone up to around $300. Harvey |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Interesting, but too many obstacles for the average guy, who is not going to be invited to tour the factory and be treated like a prince. Average guys want a place where they can send their guns and have them come back nicely refinished, without a lot of fuss and especially without a lot of money. I didn't see where this guy said what the cost was. I am willing to bet I can't afford it. |
