I haven't ruled out a 39, although every time I look t my 439 I tell myself I do have a nice example of the breed.  Then too, I feel like I'm getting inexorably closer to thinning the collection.  But--I haven't ruled it out.  Especially since it's a 39, not a 39-2.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: BTW, if you are interested, I still have the Smith M39 (no dash). I've yet to shoot it, and doubt I ever will. Harvey
