| I imagine they have a legal right to use the name, I'm not questioning that. And their explanation probably satisfies most people who wonder about it. As a real fan of Sharps rifles, however, and a student of the history of the Sharps rifle, it sounds weak to me. Not important--this is supposed to be about the new cartridge, however named. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I haven't looked at the history of that company, but it seems that they currently specialize in making parts for AR-15s.
