I was sorely tempted to get an upper in this chambering as the price was actually pretty reasonable. Then I ran into Kim's line of thinking. What would I do with it? Of course I could hunt deer with it, but I probably wouldn't... I've got plenty of good bolt action rifles for that.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I think it's interesting in that it enables one to use an AR-15 for deer hunting in VA. In it's native caliber configuration, the .223 is not considered "humane". Still, the 300 BLK would probably be my choice, or I'd just go with my 6.5 Grendel. I'm interested to see where this goes. |
