For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I tend to think that unless you can shoot at Perry--and that is organized shooting, or someplace like CMP's Talledaga, dittos on organized shooting, the eastern part of the country is difficult for personal long range, as you suggest. One would more likely need to live in the west. Say this place that Allan moved away from for the joys of Washington state.

But pity the fool (My best Mr. T imitation) who wants to close a golf course for development, be it for housing or industrial. I'd love to have had a range available like that one in Montana.
