(I've slipped this Model 700 thread from "Model 70p BDL" in RIFLES over to this thread in "Military Weapons"--Mark)
I always felt justified in choosing the Remington M700 because both US Army and USMC chose that action as the basis for their M24 and M40 sniper systems for many years. Harvey |
